# Bump channel

## Definition

A bump channel is a specific channel set-up in a Discord server. This channel is used to send and receive bump advertisements from both your server and other servers.

## Changing the bump channel

To set another channel as the bump channel, type `!settings`, click the :house: icon to proceed to the server settings, after doing so click the :mega: icon to change the bump channel, then mention the channel you want to change it to.
